The Beverly Road Project: Update Three

I will admit I have been distracted with life over the past week. An adequate amount of contemplation and decision-making taking place in my world. I finally forced myself to realign this weekend. A bit of organizing in the apartment and a load of laundry does some good. Well, three loads of laundry. I cannot function properly amongst chaos and when I arrived home from my business travels it was as if time stood still or better yet I stood still. My suitcase laid in my living room unpacked for days with clothes strewn. My workouts began to slack. I was not about to let this turn into a landslide so I ran a 1/2 marathon in the Bronx on Sunday. It was very refreshing to complete a long run. I was just about to bail on my upcoming 1/2 ironman as I am not sure I can cut it on the bike. But I decided am not ready to give up just yet. I’m beginning a six week bike class tomorrow to further improve upon my skills. And so I continue.

Last but not least, my lovely writing goals. Sometimes you have to take a step back before heading forward.
